My Work with Men: The Sacred Kings Journey
As a Tantra teacher and coach, my work with men is a profound exploration of authenticity, connection, and growth. I founded The Sacred Kings as a safe haven where men can come together to navigate the complexities of their emotions, desires, and relationships. Our journey is rooted in the understanding that vulnerability is a strength, and by embracing it, we can cultivate deeper connections with ourselves and others.
Unpacking Masculinity
In a world that often imposes rigid definitions of masculinity, I encourage the men in my group to explore what it means to be a man in today’s society. We challenge the stereotypes and expectations placed upon us, allowing space for individuality and authentic expression. Through discussions and exercises, we confront topics like unmet needs, fear, and desire, empowering each other to embrace our full selves.
Our men’s group is not just about talking; it’s about experiencing. We engage in activities that foster connection—whether it’s standing or sitting in a circle (virtual or live) to share our dreams, desires, and obstacles, or participating in workshops like “The Workshop for Men,” where we explore the four primary masculine archetypes, each session is designed to strengthen our bonds, encouraging us to support one another in our journeys.
Connection and Authenticity
Authentic connection is at the heart of The Sacred Kings. By practicing Nonviolent Communication and other conflict resolution tools, we learn to express ourselves honestly and listen deeply. This creates a space where men can show up as they are, without fear of judgment. I’ve witnessed incredible transformations as men tap into their vulnerabilities and emerge stronger, more compassionate, and more connected.
My role as a facilitator is to guide this process, ensuring that our gatherings are a safe and supportive environment. We delve into the realms of Tantra, exploring how these ancient practices can enhance our emotional and physical connections. Whether it’s through breathwork, movement, or shared experiences, we learn to cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves and each other.
Embracing the Edge
One of the most empowering aspects of my work with men is encouraging them to claim their edges. Together, we confront our fears and push beyond our comfort zones. This edgework is transformative; it helps men develop resilience, courage, and a greater sense of purpose. As we journey through these challenges, we emerge with newfound clarity about our desires and the steps we need to take to manifest them.
