Energy Transmutation and Shielding
Comments
Recognizing when energy isn’t yours and transmuting it can be key to maintaining your emotional and spiritual well-being. Here are some steps you can take to help discern and transmute energy that isn’t yours:
Recognizing When It’s Not Your Energy:
1. Sudden Shifts in Mood or Energy:
- If you experience a sudden change in mood or energy that doesn’t align with your current situation or thoughts, it may be an indication that you’re picking up on someone else’s energy.
2. Feeling Disconnected:
- If you feel a sense of disconnect from your usual self or heaviness that doesn’t seem to have a clear source, it could be external energy affecting you.
3.Physical Symptoms:
- Unexplained physical sensations like headaches, fatigue, or tension may be a sign of absorbing someone else’s energy, especially if they appear suddenly without a clear cause.
4. Inconsistent Thoughts or Emotions:
- If you notice thoughts or emotions that seem out of character or not tied to your experiences, they may be energies you’ve absorbed from others.
5. Intuition:
- Trust your intuition. If you have a gut feeling that what you’re experiencing isn’t yours, it likely isn’t.
Transmuting Energy That’s Not Yours:
1. Grounding:
- Technique: Spend time in nature, visualize roots growing from your feet into the earth, or practice deep breathing.
- Purpose: Grounding helps you release foreign energies back into the earth, neutralizing their effect on you.
2. Energy Cleansing:
- Smudging: Use sage, palo santo, or other cleansing herbs to smudge yourself, clearing away any energy that isn’t yours.
- Water Ritual: Take a bath with Epsom salts, or stand under a shower while visualizing the water washing away any energy that doesn’t belong to you.
- Sound Healing: Use a singing bowl, chimes, or your voice to create sound vibrations that help clear your energetic field.
3. Visualization:
- White Light: Envision yourself surrounded by a protective white light or golden shield that only allows positive energy in while pushing out anything that doesn’t belong to you.
- Cord Cutting: Visualize cutting energetic cords that may have formed between you and others, especially after interactions where you feel drained.
4. Energy Transmutation:
- Breathing Exercises: Breathe deeply, and on each exhale, imagine releasing any energy that isn’t yours. On the inhale, visualize drawing in pure, healing energy.
- Transformative Visualization: Visualize any negative or foreign energy turning into neutral or positive energy. You might see it as dark smoke turning into light, or chaotic energy becoming calm.
5. Setting Boundaries:
- Energetic Boundaries: Before entering situations where you might be exposed to other people’s energies, visualize a protective barrier around you. This can be a bubble, shield, or light.
- Verbal Intentions: Affirm that you are only open to energies that serve your highest good and that anything not aligned with this intention cannot affect you.
6. Release Practices:
- Journaling: Write down your feelings, thoughts, and sensations, then physically release them by burning the paper or tearing it up.
- Movement: Engage in physical activities like dancing, yoga, or shaking to help release any residual energy from your body.
7. Seeking Support:
- If the energy feels too heavy to transmute on your own, seek support from a healer, counselor, or energy worker who can help you clear and realign your energy.
By regularly practicing these techniques, you’ll become more attuned to your own energy and better equipped to handle external influences.
